Report: Utah TE Dalton Kincaid Not Doing Drills At NFL Scouting Combine
SALT LAKE CITY – Former Utah Utes tight end Dalton Kincaid will not participate in drills at the 2023 NFL Scouting Combine, according to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo.
The NFL insider shared the news on Monday, February 27.
Garafolo highlighted that while Kincaid won’t be doing any on-field work, the former Utah standout will interview with teams.
“Utah TE Dalton Kincaid, @MoveTheSticks ’ top TE and No. 10 overall prospect, will not participate in drills at the Scouting Combine, source says. Kincaid suffered a small fracture in his back in the Utes’ final regular-season game and played through it in the Pac-12 title game,” Garafolo tweeted. “Kincaid’s recovery has been overseen by noted orthopedist Robert Watkins, who determined surgery was not necessary. Kincaid is expecting to be fully cleared in the coming weeks. He will meet with teams this week in Indy but will not do any on-field work.”
