Eagles List WR Britain Covey As Questionable For Super Bowl LVII

SALT LAKE CITY – The Philadelphia Eagles listed former Utah football standout Britain Covey as questionable to play in Super Bowl LVII against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Super Bowl LVII will take place on Sunday, February 12.
On Friday, February 10, the Eagles listed Covey as “Questionable” on their injury report. The former Utah wide receiver was limited in practice due to a hamstring injury.
The Chiefs didn’t list any players with injury designations ahead of the big game. Covey was Philadelphia’s only player with a status in doubt.

As a rookie this season, Covey has played in 17 games. During those contests, he’s returned 33 punts for a total of 307 yards and 10 kickoffs for a total of 206 yards.
About Britain Covey
After a special high school career at Timpview High School in Provo, Covey played at the University of Utah from 2015-21.
During his Utah career, Covey had 132 receptions for 1,497 yards and eight touchdowns. On the ground, he added 35 carries for 201 yards.
Covey returned the ball on punt return and kick return a total of 84 times for 1,143 yards and two touchdowns.
Following the 2022 NFL Draft, the former Timpview star signed a free agent deal with the Eagles.

The Chiefs earned the No. 1 seed in the AFC after a 14-3 record in the regular season. Following a first round bye in the playoffs, Kansas City defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars in the Divisional Round and the Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC title game.
Super Bowl LVII will be Kansas City’s fifth Super Bowl appearance. The Chiefs were world champions for the 1969 and 2019 seasons.
The Eagles also earned a No. 1 seed and a first round bye to start the postseason. Philadelphia followed up its bye week with a win over the New York Giants in the Divisional Round and San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship.
Super Bowl LVII will be Philadelphia’s fourth Super Bowl appearance. The Eagles were world champions for the 2017 season.
