Utah Football Opens Up Season Ticket Renewal Early After Unprecedented Program Success

SALT LAKE CITY – Utah football announced their season tickets are up for renewal early due to their unprecedented success the past few years along with one of their biggest seasons ever looming large.
Season tickets for the Utes are officially up for renewal starting January 24, 2023, the Athletic Department announced with payment plan options that run through June. This is earlier than Utah has typically started the renewal process, but the excitement around the team and 2023 schedule prompted the move.
Enthusiasm Surrounding The Utes
Enthusiasm about the Utes is at an all-time high after becoming back-to-back Pac-12 Champions and Rose Bowl participants in the 2021 and 2022 football seasons.
With four-straight Conference Championship appearances since 2018 (throwing out the shortened 2020 Covid-19 season), along with three-straight full seasons going undefeated at home, it’s never been a better time to be a fan of Utah football.
Adding to the excitement, 2023 will be head coach Kyle Whittingham’s 19th season leading the charge for the Utes and 29th season overall with the team along with the returning talent that includes quarterback Cam Rising and tight end Brant Kuithe, plus hosting Florida, UCLA, and Oregon at home and you have a recipe for the best show in town come fall.

Easing The Rising Costs Of Success
As fans start the renewal process, they will most likely notice a slight increase in price averaging about 15% from a season ago.
Some of the increase naturally stems from the fact Utah will be hosting seven games in 2023 instead of six, but there is also a bump due to the rising costs of running a successful program and all that comes with it.
With that being said, having 76-straight sellouts is special. Fans can continue enjoying Utah football without putting too much stress on their wallets. A big part of the solution is opening the renewal window earlier and offering payment plans that will run through June so fans can spread payments out rather than get hit with a lump sum.

Last season Utah football ticket prices came in sixth in the Pac-12 hierarchy and the expectation is even with the slight increase, the Utes will fall in about the same pecking order conference wide.
