No. 3 Red Rocks Impress In Season Opener Against No. 6 LSU

SALT LAKE CITY- The No. 3 Red Rocks played host to the No. 6 LSU Tigers Friday night at the Huntsman Center in their season opener and did not disappoint. They beat the Tigers in front of a rowdy crowd 197.275 to 196.775 while still have some small things to build upon through the season.

The Utes are starting where they finished last season as the third ranked team in the nation with hopes a little maturity and better depth will get them a little closer to earning a National Title. Utah was voted preseason as the top team once again in the Pac-12 Conference.

The Red Rocks will be close by but not at home next week as they head to the Maverik Center in West Valley for the Rio Tinto Best of Utah Meet that will also feature BYU, Utah State, and Southern Utah. The quad-meet will take place next Friday, January 13 at 7 pm MT.
