49ers LB Fred Warner Named To Second Pro Bowl

SALT LAKE CITY – Former BYU linebacker and current San Francisco 49ers standout Fred Warner was named to his second Pro Bowl.
The Pro Bowl rosters were released on Wednesday which included Fred Warner. It’s his second Pro Bowl appearance with the first one coming in 2020.
Warner is second on the 49ers roster with 98 total tackles, including 61 solo tackles. He also has two sacks, three tackles for loss, 10 pass deflections, one interception, and one forced fumble.

NFL Changing Pro Bowl
TheĀ NFLĀ is replacing the Pro Bowl with weeklong skills competitions and a flag football game. The new event will replace the full-contact showcase started in 1951. It will be renamed āThe Pro Bowl Gamesā and will feature AFC and NFC players showcasing their football and non-football skills in challenges over several days. The 2023 Games will be held in Las Vegas, and the flag football game at Allegiant Stadium is Sunday, Feb. 5.
Peyton ManningĀ and hisĀ Omaha ProductionsĀ company will help shape programming and promote the eventās content throughout the week. Manning, a 14-time Pro Bowl pick during his Hall of Fame career, will provide his perspective and will also be a part of the coaching staff for flag game.
