SALT LAKE CITY- After putting on a clinic on toughness in the Pac-12 Championship Game, Utah football jumped to No.7 in the latest AP Poll putting them back where they started the season. The Utes’ performance once again makes them they highest ranked team in the Pac-12 as well as the highest ranked three-loss team in the country.

Utah won their second straight Pac-12 Title last Friday in a 47-24 beatdown of USC who many believed were on their way to the College Football Playoff. The Utes will also be on their way to their second straight Rose Bowl, most likely against Penn State on January 2, 2023.
Take A Bow, Pac-12
The Pac-12 really impressed in 2022, showing conference depth like never before. Five teams outside of the Utes finished ranked with two inside the Top 10, two in the Top 15, and two within the Top 20 teams.

USC dropped from No. 4 to No. 8, just behind Utah after the Pac-12 Title Game. Washington moved down to No. 12, while Oregon stood pat at No. 15. Oregon State and UCLA both moved back a spot to No. 17 and 18.
The Pac-12 will have seven total teams representing the conference in bowl play with Washington State crossing over the six-game threshold, but not having quite enough on their resume to be ranked. Everyone’s bowl game fate will be revealed later Sunday.
