Jazz vs. Wizards
The Jazz can guarantee themselves a winning record by securing a victory over the Wizards.
Wednesday’s win saw a nine point halftime lead quickly evaporate into a 10 point deficit midway through the third quarter.
However, the second unit led by Malik Beasley and Walker Kessler stemmed the Hawks momentum and the Jazz recaptured the lead early in the fourth quarter.
Lauri Markkanen continued his brilliant play recording 32 points and eight rebounds, including a knockdown 6-8 performance for the Jazz in the 125-119 win.
Jordan Clarkson added 23 points for the Jazz, and has now scored at least 20 points in each of the team’s last five outings.
During the team’s two-day hiatus Beasley announced the birth of his daughter on Instagram. Despite the new addition, the Jazz veteran was not listed on the team’s injury report against the Wizards.

The Wizards announced Friday that the team will be without All-Star guard Bradley Beal when they host the Jazz on Saturday.
Beal has missed each of the team’s last three games including Thursday’s win over the Mavericks.
Former University of Utah star Kyle Kuzma led the Wizards with 36 points, 11 rebounds, and six assists in the 113-105 victory.
The Wizards are 6-6 on the season and 2-1 without Beal in the lineup.
