Sky View Defeats Salem Hills At Home In Week One

SALT LAKE CITY – The Sky View Bobcats down the Salem Hill Skyhawks in a battle of air vs land by a final score of 35-14. Carson Thatcher tossed two scores in the win.

Here are all of the results in the 4A classification from the first week of the 2022 high school football season.

Morgan (3A) @ Bear River

Morgan defeats Bear River by a score of 37-14. A convincing win for the Trojans as backup  Kyver Jensen throws for two scores in the victory.

#18 Spanish Fork (5A) @ Cedar City

In a defensive battle, Spanish Fork prevails over Cedar City by a score of 10-3. Carter Jones’ 22-yard field goal is the difference along with a Joshua Buck touchdown in a Dons win.

#14 Springville (5A) @ #23 Dixie

Springville defeats Dixie by a final score of 41-14. Tevita Valeti runs for three scores in the victory.

#regXFB goes 3-4 tonight.

Northridge (5A) @ #22 Snow Canyon

Snow Canyon wins 41-0 over Northridge. QB Hunter Johnson tosses six balls that get to the end zone in the Warriors dominating win.

Bonneville (5A) @ Ridgeline

In a slugfest Jaxson Johnson’s one-yard run is the difference as the Lakers defeat the Riverhawks by a final score of 12-7. Jackson Olsen for Ridgeline breaks off a 94-yard run for a score.

Mountain Crest @ Hurricane

Mountain Crest cruised to a 27-0 victory over Hurricane. Carson Olsen scores four touchdowns on the ground as the Mustangs take care of business in week one and shut out the Tigers.

#25 Green Canyon @ Crimson Cliffs

In a tight defensive battle in 4a, Konner Kell’s 55 yard rushing touchdown is the difference as the Crimson Cliffs Mustangs beat the Green Canyon wolves by a score of 10-3. A game in which both defenses played valiantly but ultimately the Mustangs of Crimson Cliffs came out on top.

Viewmont (5A) @ Logan

Viewmont defeats Logan 30-16. Viewmont QB Luke Jacobs threw three touchdowns in the victory over Logan.
