SALT LAKE CITY – The countdown for Hans & Scotty’s 60 in 60 is on. Coming in at #33 is Utah’s Solomon Enis (WR).

Throughout the summer Hans & Scotty are counting down the top 60 college football players in the state of Utah as voted on by the media (and a fan ballot).

He’s a guy that’s been very consistent for us,” Utah head coach Kyle Whittingham said of his wide receiver. “He’s gotten better throughout his time here at Utah. This should be his most productive season if everything goes as planned. He’s an outstanding blocker down the field as well.”

Utah’s Solomon Enis

Enis is a senior from Phoenix, Arizona.

He joined the Utes in 2018 as a four-star recruit. Enis played in all 14 games with two starts as a true freshman in 2018, hauling in 13 catches for 179 yards and one touchdown. As a sophomore in 2019, Enis once again played in all 14 games, including two starts. He recorded 14 receptions for 158 yards.

During the COVID-shortened 2020 season, he played in all five games, finishing with 11 catches for 108 yards and one touchdown. This past season, Enis caught 22 passes for 148 yards and one TD in 10 games played, including five starts.

Throughout his career at Utah, Enis has played in 44 games with 14 starts, recording 60 receptions for 693 yards and three touchdowns.

Coming out of North Canyon High School, Enis was the No. 2 ranked recruit in the state of Arizona.

This fall, the Utes will open their 2022 schedule on the road against the Florida Gators. The Utes and Gators will play on September 3. Utah’s first home game is against the Southern Utah Thunderbirds on September 10.
