Gobert Goes Green With Latest Hair Transformation

SALT LAKE CITY – Rudy Gobert dyed his hair green in a not-so-subtle change after the Utah Jazz season ended.
Gobert first showed off the new do in an Instagram story last week, though the angle made it difficult to decipher the exact shade of green he used.
However, in a Mother’s Day post showing Gobert hanging out with his mom, his new green hair was on full display.

In the caption, Gobert wrote “To all the warriors raising warriors,” thanking his mom on Mother’s Day.
Gobert has worn a variety of styles in his hair prior to going Green.
The Jazz center kept his do extremely short his first few seasons in the league before letting it grow out slightly to match his developing frame.
Notably, the center began shaving symbols into his hair later into his career including a rounded swoosh, and eventually a lightning bolt shape.
During the 2021 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Gobert grew his hair out to its longest length during his silver medal run with the French National Team.

Gobert has spent nine seasons in the NBA, all of them with the Jazz.
The center averaged 15.6 points, 14.7 rebounds, and 2.1 blocks this season while leading the NBA in rebounding and field goal percentage.
Gobert has racked up three Defensive Player of the Year awards, three All-Star nods, four All-NBA appearances, and been named to five All-Defensive teams during his career in Utah.
The center signed a five-year, $205 million extension with the Jazz in the summer of 2020, though the deal didn’t officially begin until the summer of 2021.
Despite having four seasons left on his contract, Gobert has been at the center of trade rumors for the Jazz since being eliminated by the Dallas Mavericks in the first round of the NBA playoffs.
