Zach Wilson Among Top Players For NFL Jersey, Merchandise Sales

SALT LAKE CITY – After one year with the New York Jets, Zach Wilson has become a popular guy in the NFL.
The former star signal-caller at BYU made the Top 50 NFL player sales list. Sales include jerseys and merchandise sales of an athlete. The NFL Players Association (NFLPA) released the data, and Wilson snuck in at No. 50.
For a record fifth time and second year in a row @TomBrady holds the Top 50 👑 followed by @PatrickMahomes + @JoshAllenQB.

All sales were accounted for from March 1, 2021, through February 28, 2022. The items included in the merchandise sales include jerseys, t-shirts, hoodies, bobbleheads, plush toys, socks, face coverings, headbands, figurines, wall decals, backpacks, pennants, photos, drinkware, pet products, and more.
Wilson was one of nine rookies to make the NFLPA’s sales list. The most rookies in one year since the NFLPA began releasing this data on an annual basis in 2014. Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Tom Brady finished No. 1 in sales, his second year in a row holding that mantle. The highest rookie on the list is Patriots QB Mac Jones.
Last season, Wilson was 3-10 as a starter passing for 2,334 yards and throwing nine touchdowns to 11 interceptions.
Wilson was the only player from the Jets to make it on the top player sales list.
