Scheffler calmly played a smart final five holes to comfortably gift him the green jacket. So much so that on the 18th hole Scheffler showed the first signs of nervousness when he made double bogey after missing two putts within four feet.
The Masters victory solidified Scheffler’s fourth win in eight starts on the PGA Tour this season.
Scheffler remains as the number one golfer in the world.
Finau Finds Success Again At Augusta
Finau, on the other hand, concluded his 2022 Masters campaign at six-over-par following a final round score of two over par. Finau ended the tournament in a tie for 35th.
Finau’s round was highlighted with an eagle on the par 5 13th hole when he trickled in a 35-foot putt from distance. Unfortunately, Finau also managed five bogeys and a double throughout his final round.

It was the fifth Masters appearance for Finau at Augusta National and he is yet to miss the cut. Previously, Finau has finished in T10 twice, T5, T35 prior to this year’s T35.
Prior to The Masters, Finau was struggling with form. But as has so often been the case for Finau at Augusta, Finau managed to play some captivating golf.
