Instant Replay: Tiger Woods Returns, Tees Off At 2022 Masters

SALT LAKE CITY – Legendary golfer Tiger Woods made his return to competition and officially teed off to start his first round at The Masters Tournament.
Woods opened his round at Augusta National Golf Club just after 9 a.m. (MDT) on Thursday, April 7.
It is the 86th edition of The Masters.
The 15-time major tournament winner walked up to the tee to applause and cheers from a large crowd.

He recorded a par score on hole No. 1.
Woods’ return to the golf course came more than 400 days after he suffered significant leg injuries following a severe car accident in February 2021.
The 2022 Masters is Woods’ first professional golf event since the major injuries.
During his storied career, Woods has won The Masters five times.

He captured his most recent green jacket in 2019.
The Masters Tournament will take place in Augusta, Georgia from April 7-10.
