Juancho Hernangomez Jams Driving Dunk During Jazz/Mavericks Game

SALT LAKE CITY – Jazz forward Juancho Hernangomez threw down a driving slam dunk during the opening half of Utah’s game against the Dallas Mavericks.
The Mavericks hosted the Jazz at American Airlines Center on Sunday, March 27.
It was Hernangomez’s sixth start as a member of the Jazz.
With 7:33 left in the second quarter, Hernangomez drove to the basket and threw down a left-handed dunk. Hernangomez’s slam gave Utah a 41-33 lead.

After the jam, Hernangomez had six points on 1-3 field goals. He added five rebounds, one assist, and a steal during his first 11 minutes on the floor.
This season, the forward is averaging 2.0 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 0.4 assists. During his first 10 games on the court as a Jazzman, Hernangomez averaged 4.1 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 0.6 assists in 14.4 minutes per game.
Utah entered the matchup with an identical record as Dallas at 45-29 this season.
The Mavericks own a 25-12 record at home while the Jazz are 19-18 away from Salt Lake City.
