Jazz Guard Sends Kevin Durant Flying With Vicious Pump Fake

SALT LAKE CITY – Jazz guard Mike Conley made Kevin Durant look silly with the crossover, drive-by floater midway through the second quarter against Brooklyn.
The Jazz were in New York City for a back to back, this time at Barclays Center against the Brooklyn Nets on Monday, March 21.
With the Jazz leading 47-43, Mike Conley caught a pass just beyond the three-point line at the top of the key. With pterodactyl armed KD closing out, Conley calmly pump faked before crossing over and sending the All-NBA forward scrambling to the floor before stepping into the paint and hitting the floater.
Mike Conley just EMBARRASSED Kevin Durant with that crossover.
Turned him into the tin man.

Conley’s floater put the Jazz in front by six, 49-43.
The Jazz have led for much of the night before heading into the halftime break trailing 53-51 as both teams are in playoff battles with the regular season winding down.
Brooklyn enters the night in eight place in the eastern conference, just two games out of tenth and four games from the six seed and escaping the dreaded play-in. For Utah, they are two games behind three-seed Golden State and two games in front of five-seed Dallas.

The Jazz crushed the Nets on February 4, in Utah 125-102, as Irving played, though Durant missed the game with a knee injury. With the game being in New York, Irving is unavailable to play due to ongoing COVID protocols in New York City.
The Jazz are playing without forward Bojan Bogdanovic, guard Trent Forrest and center Udoka Azubuike.
The Jazz and Nets can be heard on The Zone Sports Network. The game is also televised on AT&T SportsNet, NBATV, and FuboTV.
