Utah Warriors Turn Attention To LA Giltinis After Historic Win
SALT LAKE CITY – After a historic performance in their first win of the 2022 season, the Utah Warriors are ready to carry momentum forward against LA Giltinis.
The Utah Warriors knocked off the Dallas Jackals 69-22, in what was a franchise record and Major League Rugby record for most points scored in a game.
Now, they turn their attention to the best team in MLR on Sunday, March 13 on the road against LA Giltinis.
“I think we’re definitely going to approach a match if it’s like any other as if it’s going to be another final against them,” said Utah Warriors center Tyler Fisher. “I’m not too sure in terms of what personnel they have on the team from last year whether they have the same sort of guys in it or not, but it’s definitely a rivalry game that we want to get ahead of them and get that win. We owe it to beat them as we sort of lost it in the last minute in that conference final last year.”
