Several Draft Prospects With Utah Ties Workout At NFL Combine

SALT LAKE CITY – The NFL combine in Indianapolis wraps up on Sunday but a series of pro hopefuls with ties to the Beehive state took part in the NFL-predraft process on Friday and Saturday.
The NFL combine run from Tuesday, March 1 through Monday, March 7 in Indianapolis, IN.
Tyler Allgeier – RB – BYU Cougars
The former walk-on from Fontana, California, produced the most yards in a season by a BYU running back this past fall. Allgeier rushed for 1,601 yards and found the endzone a total of 23 times to help BYU produce back-to-back double-digit win seasons.
Allgeier measured in at 5’11 inches tall and 224 lbs. He also has 31 1/2 inch arms and 9 5/8 inch hands.

Jaylen Warren – RB – East High/Oklahoma State
Former East High ball carrier Jaylen Warren. Warren had a well-traveled collegiate career making stops at Snow College in Ephraim, Utah State, before finally settling in at Oklahoma State in the Big 12 Conference. Warren was Oklahoma State’s leading rusher and helped OSU produce a 12-win season, capped by a victory over Notre Dame in the Fiesta Bowl.
Warren measured in at 5’8 inch and 204 lbs. with 29 7/8 inch arms and 9 1/4 inch hands.

- Broad Jump- 9 feet 11 inches

Braxton Jones – OL – Southern Utah Thunderbirds
The Thunderbirds had one of the best offensive lineman prospects in the FCS ranks this past season in offensive tackle Braxton Jones, one of the 324 prospects at the 2022 Combine.
Jones measured in at 6’5 inches and 310 lbs. He also has 35 3/8 inch arms and 10 1/4 inch hands.

- Broad Jump- 9 feet

Devin Lloyd – LB – University of Utah
Lloyd piled up 111 tackles, 22 tackles for loss, seven sacks, and four interceptions as he helped Utah capture its first Pac-12 Championship in program history. NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah has the do-it-all Utah linebacker as the No. 8 overall player in the draft.
Lloyd measurable came in at 6’2 inches tall weighing and 237 lbs. His hands measured at 9 1/2 inches and arms were 33 inches.

Nephi Sewell – LB – University of Utah
Lloyd’s linebacker teammate, Nephi Sewell, was also invited to the Combine. Once a transfer from the University of Nevada, Sewell flourished in 2021, producing a career-best 89 tackles last season.
Sewell measured in at 5’11 1/2 inches, 226 lbs with length measurements of 29 3/8 inch arms and 8 1/2 inch hands.

- Broad Jump – 10 feet
