Utah Women’s Basketball To Face Cal In Pac-12 Tournament

SALT LAKE CITY – After dropping their final game of the regular season to Oregon, the Utes turn their attention to Las Vegas, site of the 2022 Pac-12 women’s basketball tournament.
The Pac-12 women’s basketball tournament is scheduled to take place at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, NV beginning on Wednesday, March 2 with the championship game scheduled for Sunday, March 6.

The loss to Oregon dropped Utah to a 6-seed in the conference tournament.
Wednesday, March 2
#5 Colorado vs. #12 Washington- 1 p.m. (MDT)
#8 Oregon State vs. # 9 Arizona State- 3:30 p.m. (MDT)
#7 UCLA vs. #10 USC- 7 p.m. (MDT)
#6 Utah vs. #11 California- 9:30 p.m. (MDT)
The Utes last won a game in the Pac-12 tournament when they beat Washington 72-63 in 2020 before falling to Oregon. Utah has three wins in Pac-12 tournament action since joining the conference following the 2011 season.
In 25 games against Cal, Utah is 11-14 overall and 1-2 on a neutral court. The two have met once previously in postseason play with Cal winning a 66-63 overtime game in March of 2016.
Utah is looking to make their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2011.
