USU Lands Fourth Straight Loss After Second Half Struggles Against Boise State

SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah State men’s basketball team struggled in the second half against the Boise State Broncos are fell for the fourth consecutive contest.
The Broncos hosted the Aggies on Saturday, February 19.
USU lost to Boise State, 68-57.

The Aggies arrived in Idaho having lost three in a row and last tasting victory on February 5.
Utah State played a solid opening 20 minutes of action and owned a one-point advantage going into the locker room at halftime.

Following the break, the Aggies failed to keep pace with the Broncos, who outscored USU by 12 points in the second half, 39-27.
Utah State finished the contest shooting 43.4 percent overall and 31.8 percent from beyond the arc.

By comparison, the Aggies allowed the Broncos to shoot 52.4 percent from the field.
RJ Eytle-Rock led the Aggies with 16 points, four rebounds, two assists, and one steal.
With the loss, the Aggies dropped to a 15-13 record, including 6-9 in the Mountain West Conference.

The Aggies have three games left on their regular season slate.
