Seahawks LB Bobby Wagner Misses Pro Bowl Due To Injury

SALT LAKE CITY – Former Utah State and current Seattle Seahawks linebacker Bobby Wagner sat out the Pro Bowl to recover from a late-season injury.
The 2022 Pro Bowl took place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada on Sunday, February 6. Wagner was named to Pro Bowl on December 22.
The former Aggie suffered sprains to his MCL and PCL late in the regular season. He missed Seattle’s season finale because of the injury.
Wagner was selected as a reserve player on the NFC roster. He has been selected to the Pro Bowl in eight consecutive seasons.
This season, Wagner recorded 170 total tackles, 93 solo tackles, one sack, one forced fumble, one interception, and five pass breakups.
The former USU star was joined on the Pro Bowl roster by former Utah and current Los Angeles Rams kicker Matt Gay. Gay didn’t participate in the Pro Bowl due to Los Angeles making the Super Bowl. The Rams will play in Super Bowl LVI on February 13.
The 2022 Pro Bowl is televised on ESPN and ABC.
