Utah G Marco Anthony Throws Down One-Handed Alley-Oop Dunk Over Oregon Defender

SALT LAKE CITY – University of Utah men’s basketball guard Marco Anthony threw down a monster alley-oop slam dunk over an Oregon defender.
With 4:54 remaining in the game, Utah guard Rollie Worster was inbounding the ball on their own baseline when Marco Anthony came around a double screen before his impressive dunk. As Anthony came around the two screens into the paint, Worster threw the ball up past the backboard.
Anthony caught the ball and threw it down with his left hand over an Oregon defender.

That dunk cut Oregon’s lead to 71-59 with 4:50 remaining in the game and rocked the Jon M. Huntsman. Utah basketball retired the jersey of legend Tom Chambers at halftime.
Utah G Marco Anthony Plays Well In Loss To Oregon
Besides the great dunk by Anthony, he was tremendous all game long. He recorded a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds with eight of those boards coming on the offensive glass, He shot 4-of-7 from the field and 7-for-12 from the free throw line.
Right after the dunk, Anthony converted an and-one on the next trip down the floor.
After a tough first half of the game, Utah rallied in the second half and outscored Oregon 46-37, but ultimately fell to the Ducks 80-77. It was a wild ending as Utah trailed by 14 points with about five minutes remaining in the game.
Will Richardson led the Ducks with 25 points as they shot 13-of-26 from the three-point line.
Utah dropped their record to 9-15 overall and 2-12 in Pac-12 play. They will have an entire week off before they head to Boulder to face Colorado on Saturday, February 12 at 6 p.m. MT on the Pac-12 Network.
