Larson, Bickner Qualify For Men’s Ski Jumping Normal Hill First Round

SALT LAKE CITY – Casey Larson of the University of Utah and Park City resident Kevin Bickner qualified for the first round of the Men’s Ski Jumping Normal Hill event at the Winter Olympics.
Larson and Bickner participated in the trials and qualifications for the event on Friday, February 4.
Following the trials, Larson was the second skier to jump. Bickner went 11th.

Kevin Bickner’s score

Points: 61.8
Bickner joined Larson in qualifying for the next round and became the third member of Team USA to qualify. Larson and Bickner were joined by Patrick Gasienica.
The first round of the Men’s Individual Normal Hill will take place on Sunday, February 6 at 4 a.m. (MDT).
