Donovan Mitchell Returns, Leads Jazz To Opening 10-0 Run Against Nets

SALT LAKE CITY – Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell returned from a multi-week absence and helped Utah open on a 10-0 run against the Brooklyn Nets.
The Jazz hosted the Nets at Vivint Arena on Friday, February 4.
During the first 2:13 of game time, Mitchell’s impact on Utah’s offense was immediately felt after being out of the lineup since mid-January.
The Louisville product led the Jazz on a 10-0 scoring run to start the game.
Mitchell scored or assisted on every point during the burst.

The run forced Brooklyn to call timeout only 1:47 into the game.
After the 10-0 run, Mitchell had five points on 1-1 field goals. He also went 2-2 on free throws.
Mitchell added two assists during his opening minutes of action.

Mitchell last played on January 17.
He missed Utah’s last eight games due to a concussion. During Mitchell’s recovery and absence from the court, the Jazz posted a 2-6 record, including a five-game losing streak.
This season, Mitchell is averaging 25.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 5.2 assists per contest.
