SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah Jazz will be without All-Stars Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell on Wednesday night when they face the Phoenix Suns.
Mitchell has missed the team’s last four games since suffering a concussion in the Jazz’s loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on January 17.
Gobert has missed the team’s last two games after feeling a strain in his calf in the team’s loss to the Golden State Warriors on Sunday.

The Jazz are in the midst of one of their worst stretches of basketball in several seasons having lost eight of their last 10 games, largely due to the number of players that have been forced to miss games with various injuries.
Since January 5, Mitchell, Gobert, Mike Conley, Joe Ingles, Bojan Bogdanovic, Royce O’Neale, Hassan Whiteside, and Rudy Gay have missed multiple games among the Jazz’s top nine rotation players.
Jordan Clarkson, Udoka Azubuike, Elijah Hughes, Jared Butler, and Danuel House Jr. have also missed at least one game due to injury or illness since January 5.
Wednesday night’s game will mark the 10th time in the last 12 games that the Jazz have had to suit up without one of, or both Mitchell and Gobert in the lineup.

The team is 0-2 without both Mitchell and Gobert on the floor during the stretch, 1-3 in games with Mitchell but without Gobert, 1-2 with Gobert but without Mitchell, and 1-1 with both players on the court.
The Jazz were missing their entire starting five and Ingles in the team’s 115-109 loss to the Suns on Monday night.
