SALT LAKE CITY – Devin Lloyd reflected on his time at Utah and made a terrific video tribute to thank everyone involved in his journey.
Utah football had one of the top linebackers in the country and Devin Lloyd will now take his talents to the NFL. Lloyd is considered to be one of – if not the best linebacker in program history.
The consensus All-American posted a very nice tribute on social media on Wednesday evening. He captioned his video with the acronym for Utes. United Together Eternal Soldiers.

“Ute nation. Thank you. Thank you for the experiences, the memories, and the relationships that will last a lifetime,” Lloyd said in the video. “Throughout my years here, I’ve grown tremendously as a man. I faced many trials and tribulations and because of it, it made me stronger. To my family, I truly couldn’t have done it without you. You always believed in me, told me I could accomplish anything I set my mind to. To all my brothers, thank you. You constantly brought my spirits up and made this an adventure I’ll never forget. I love y’all.
“To my coaches,” Lloyd added. “Words can’t express how appreciative I am for everything you’ve done for me on and off the field. So much of my success is because of the lessons you have taught me. To the best fans in the nation, thank you for everything. Your constant love and support is felt by everyone on the team. And although I’ll never be playing at Rice-Eccles again, I can’t wait to come back. Because that atmosphere is something that I’ll miss and cherish forever. Utah, I love you. You’ll always be a part of my heart, and I’m blessed to be part of your history.”
Lloyd will certainly be a first round selection in the upcoming NFL Draft. Some have said he could even crack the top 10. We will find out the next chapter for Devin Lloyd in April.
