McDonald has been a great recruiter for Utah during his time with the Utes. He coached Zack Moss while he became the program’s all-time leading rusher. McDonald also recruited Ricky Parks, Jaylon Glover, Ty Jordan, T.J. Pledger, Tavion Thomas and Chris Curry, just to name a few.
The Colorado native joined the Utah coaching staff with Troy Taylor in 2017 after spending four years at Eastern Washington.
Lincoln Riley is entering his first season with USC after coming over from Oklahoma. Utah will host McDonald and USC on Saturday, October 15.
