Multiple Utah Utes Named All-America By Sporting News

SALT LAKE CITY – Sporting News named Utah football’s Devin Lloyd and Bamidele Olaseni as All-America players for their performances during the 2021 season.
The duo received the recognition on Tuesday, December 14.
Lloyd was honored as a first-team All-American and Olaseni was awarded second-team honors.

The players helped Utah to a 10-3 record, the first Pac-12 title in program history, and a first-ever Rose Bowl Game bid.
This season, Lloyd has recorded 107 total tackles, 63 solo tackles, six pass breakups, seven sacks, one forced fumble, four interceptions, and two touchdowns.
During his four-year college career, the Chula Vista, California native has posted 252 total tackles, 147 solo tackles, eight pass breakups, 15.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, five interceptions, and three touchdowns.
Olaseni saw action in all 13 games of Utah’s games, including 10 starts at left tackle.
Utah will play Ohio State in the Rose Bowl on Saturday, January 1, 2022, at 3 p.m. (MDT) on ESPN.
