Utah State Snaps Two-Game Skid With Blowout Win Over New Orleans

LOGAN, Utah – The Utah State Aggies snapped their two-game losing streak after picking up an 82-50 win over New Orleans on Saturday night at home.
Three Utah State players reached double figures, led by Justin Bean with 14 points and 8 rebounds in 26 minutes. R.J. Eytle-Rock chipped in 14 points, including four three-pointers. Trevin Dorius had 12 points off the bench on a perfect 6-for-6 from the field to go with his nine rebounds. Former Ute Rylan Jones dropped six points, 11 assists and four steals.
Utah State dominated the first half by outscoring New Orleans 48-17 which was enough to hold off the visiting team as the Aggies dropped 34 points in the second half and held UNO to 33 points.

The Aggies’ biggest lead in the game was 46 points when they had a 75-29 advantage with 7:38 to play in the game.
They shot 48% from the field, knocked down 13 of their 33 three-point attempts and went to the free throw line just 11 times. The rebound margin was in favor of Utah State by just two.
Utah State improved their record to 7-3 on the season. They will be on the road to face Weber State on Wednesday, December 15 at 7 p.m. MT on ESPN+, KJZZ and The Zone Sports Network.
