SALT LAKE CITY – Former Utah quarterback Charlie Brewer will reportedly transfer to Liberty after being the portal for the last two months.

According to John Manson of ASeaOfRed.com, Charlie Brewer will head to Liberty to play for Hugh Freeze and the Flames.

Brewer left the Utah program after just three games with the Utes. Following the loss to San Diego State, Utah released their depth chart for the Washington State game, which had Cam Rising as the starter and Ja’Quinden Jackson as the backup. Brewer went 14-of-26 passing for 104 yards and one interception before getting benched against San Diego State.

Through three games as a Ute, Brewer threw for 484 yards, three touchdowns and three interceptions.

After four seasons with Baylor, he ranks No. 1 in school history in completions (828), No. 2 in completion percentage (.635), passing yards (9,700), passing touchdowns (65) and No. 5 in passing efficiency (138.1).
