Utah WR Britain Covey Declaring For 2022 NFL Draft

SALT LAKE CITY – Utah WR and return specialist Britain Covey announced that he will be declaring for the upcoming 2022 NFL Draft.
Britain Covey will play his last game with the Utes at the Rose Bowl against Ohio State on Saturday, January 1, 2022.
Covey has received recognition throughout his whole career at Utah, including four All-Pac-12 selections as a returner and one as a wide receiver.

The standout wide receiver started his career in 2015, where he made a splash as a true freshman, leading the Pac-12 freshmen in receiving yards, receiving yards per game, receptions per game, touchdown catches and receptions.
He spent the next two seasons serving a church mission in Chile. Covey returned in 2018 and played 13 games before suffering a season-ending injury in the Pac-12 Championship game. He used his redshirt in 2019 since his knee was not fully recovered. The Timpview High School star played four games in 2020 before having his best season of his career in 2021.
Covey finished the regular season with a team-high 49 receptions for 480 yards and two touchdowns. As a returner, Covey had 29 punt returns for 427 yards and two touchdowns.
Covey holds the school record for most career punt return yards.
