SALT LAKE CITY – Former Utah State star and current Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love has been placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

Packers General Manager Brian Gutekunst announced the move on Monday afternoon.

Per agreed-upon NFL-NFLPA policy, clubs are not permitted to comment on a player’s medical status other than referring to roster status. Being placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list is for a player who either tests positive for COVID-19 or who has been in close contact with an infected person or persons.

Green Bay is coming off of a bye this past week and are 9-3 this season, sitting in first place in the NFC North Division. They beat the Los Angeles Rams 36-28 at home last week before their bye.

Love has played in four games this season, completing 24 of his 41 pass attempts for 258 yards, one touchdown and one interception. He has also rushed for 19 yards on 9 carries.

The Packers will return to action on Sunday, December 12 to host the Chicago Bears on Sunday Night Football. Kickoff is set for 6:20 p.m. MT on KSL 5 TV.
