Seahawks LB Bobby Wagner Grabs First Interception Since 2019

SALT LAKE CITY – Former Utah State and current Seattle Seahawks linebacker Bobby Wagner snagged his first interception since the 2019 season.
The Seahawks hosted the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, December 5.
With 8:43 left in the opening quarter, Wagner ended a one-play drive by the Niners by picking off Jimmy Garoppolo.
It was Wagner’s first interception of the season and his first since the 2019 campaign.

At the time of Wagner’s pick, the game was tied at 7-7.
Following the first 30 minutes of game time, the 49ers owned a 23-21 lead.
During the first half, Wagner recorded six total tackles, four solo tackles, one pass breakup, and an interception.
The former USU star entered the game with 128 total tackles, 71 solo tackles, one sack, one forced fumble, and three pass breakups this season.
