Dixie State Snaps Four-Game Skid With Win Over Bethesda

ST. GEORGE, Utah – The Dixie State Trailblazers snapped a four-game losing streak with a 99-61 win over Bethesda on Tuesday night.
Dixie State opened the game on a 14-0 run, connecting on six of their first 11 shot attempts. The Flames crawled back into the game in the first half but the Trailblazers took a 38-28 lead into the halftime break.
Dixie State took off in the second half by outscoring Bethesda 61-33. Four Trailblazers reached double figures, led by Hunter Schofield with 18 points and six rebounds on a perfect 9-for-9 shooting from the field in 20 minutes on the floor.

Trevon Allfrey recorded a double-double off the bench with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Andre Mulibea dropped 14 points, while Frank Staine added 10 points in 14 minutes.
Dixie State shot 50% from the field, 25% at the three-point line and 80% from the foul line. Bethesda made just 30% of their field goal attempts, 19% of their three-pointers and 63% of their free throws.
DSU improved their record to 2-5 overall. They will have a rematch with Bethesda at home on Wednesday, December 1 at 7 p.m. MT on ESPN+.
