SALT LAKE CITY – Justen Glad stepped up to the spot late on Tuesday evening with a chance of sending his beloved Real Salt Lake to the conference semifinal.
As he walked towards the penalty spot, he received the football from the referee before placing it down on the spot. He came across calm, composed, and determined. Nothing but scoring was on his mind.
That was not the case 830 miles south-east of Lumen Field where Glad’s sister, Jenna, was uncontrollably nervous for her brother.
When your brother steps up to take the potential winning PK…and makes it!
We feel you, Jenna. Love to see it. ❤️

“Oh my gosh, oh my gosh!” Jenna can be heard screaming. “I could literally cry!” She states as Justen places the ball onto the spot.
As Justen approaches the ball, Jenna raises her hands to the ceiling while emotionally pleading “please!”
Seconds later she jumps into the air. “Yes! Yes!” She screams while a phone rings in the background.
Her joy and excitement were shared by thousands of other Real Salt Lake fans nearby as the most unexpected of victories unfolded before their very eyes.
