Southern Utah Rolls In Second Half, Beats Bowling Green

SALT LAKE CITY – The Southern Utah men’s basketball team rolled in the second half to beat the Bowling Green Falcons at the Fort Myers Tip-Off.
The Thunderbirds and Falcons played at Suncoast Credit Union Arena in Fort Myers, Florida on Wednesday, November 24.
SUU beat Bowling Green, 87-73.

After the T-Birds and Falcons battled through the first 20 minutes of action, Southern Utah dominated after the halftime break.
SUU took a 42-38 lead into the locker room at the break.
Over the final 20 minutes of game time, the Thunderbirds outscored the Falcons by double-digits to come away with a 14-point victory.
Southern Utah finished the contest shooting 48.3 percent from the field, including 34.6 percent from beyond the arc.
John Knight III led the T-Birds with 19 points.

Tevian Jones and Maizen Fausett combined for 30 points. Marquis Moore added 10 points off the bench.
With the win, the Thunderbirds improved to a 3-3 record this season.
