Donovan Mitchell Owns Second Quarter Of Jazz/Bulls Game

SALT LAKE CITY – Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell went to work and owned the second quarter of Utah’s road game against the Chicago Bulls.
The Bulls hosted the Jazz at the United Center on Saturday, October 30.
After Utah trailed by one point at the end of the third quarter and by double-digits midway through the second quarter, Mitchell went to work to help the Jazz regain the lead.
Mitchell cooked the Bulls for 13 points during the final 12 minutes before halftime.
He connected on three field goals, including a pair of three-pointers. Mitchell buried five foul shots to help bolster his first half total to 22 points.

The fifth-year guard propelled the Jazz on 16-4 run during the final 4:26 of the second quarter.

His 22 points came on 6-12 shooting, including 2-5 from beyond the arc. Mitchell added four rebounds, three assists, and a block during his time on the hardwood. He posted a plus-18 rating during 17 minutes of first half action.
Through four games this season, Mitchell is averaging 20.0 points per game on 39.2 percent shooting.
