Cash Gilliam INT Sets Up Justin McGriff TD Grab To Extend USU’s Lead

LOGAN, Utah – Utah State linebacker Cash Gilliam hauled in an interception to give the Aggies defense a big stop and led to a Justin McGriff touchdown catch.
Hawai’i was facing third and goal at the Utah State five-yard line when Byron Vaughns deflected the pass and Cash Gilliam caught the ball in the end zone for the Utah State stop.

The Aggies’ offense went down the field in eight plays that resulted in a 45-yard touchdown pass from Logan Bonner to Justin McGriff.

It’s the first career interception for Gilliam. McGriff caught his fifth career TD pass and his third this season. Through the first two drives of the game, Bonner completed all four of his pass attempts for 81 yards and one TD. McGriff had three receptions for 67 yards and one touchdown.
