SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Former BYU and current 49ers linebacker Fred Warner came up with a big fumble recovery early in San Francisco’s game against the Indianapolis Colts.
The Niners hosted the Colts on Sunday, October 24.
After San Francisco marched down the field for a touchdown on the opening drive of the game, Indianapolis had its first offensive possession.
With 10:12 remaining in the opening quarter, running back Jonathan Taylor ran the ball on the Colts’ first offensive play.
49ers defensive back Josh Norman punched the ball free from Taylor’s grip and onto the turf. Warner collected the ball amid a pile of players and regained possession for San Francisco.
