Jazz To Host Block Party For Opening Night

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah –Β The Utah Jazz will host a block party before their season opener against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday night.
The Jazz block party will be held outside of Vivint Arena beginning at 5 pm and will feature music from the band High Society, food and beverages, ticket giveaway, and more according to the team.
The block party will also feature former Jazz center Mehmet Okur who spent 10 seasons in the NBA, seven of which came in Utah.

Okur had career averages of 15.3 points and 7.6 rebounds with the Jazz where he was named to the 2007 Western Conference All-Star team. The center was a part of the last Jazz team to make it to the Western Conference Finals in the same season.
The Jazz block party will also feature a basketball court for fans to face off against former AND 1 mixtape star Grayson βThe Professorβ Boucher.
A handful of standing room tickets will be handed to those in attendance at the block party, though tickets are still available for purchase.

Commemorative opening night T-shirts will be placed on the seats for each fan with a ticket to the game.
Wednesday’s game will be aired on The Zone Sports Network (97.5 FM/1280 AM) and on KSL NewsRadio (1160 AM/102.7 FM).
