Patriots LB Kyle Van Noy Helps Prevent Cowboys Touchdown With Fumble Recovery

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Former BYU and current New England Patriots linebacker Kyle Van Noy recovered a fumble inside the end zone to help prevent a Dallas Cowboys touchdown.
The Patriots hosted the Cowboys on Sunday, October 17.
With 1:30 remaining in the second quarter, Dallas quarterback Dak Prescott attempted to jump over his offensiv line for a goal line touchdown before New England’s Ja’Whaun Bentley knocked the ball free before the pigskin entered the end zone.
Van Noy recovered the ball inside the end zone for a touchback and a new Patriots possession.

The Patriots knelt the ball to close out the first half and went into the locker room with a 14-10 lead.
During the first 30 minutes of action, Van Noy had two tackles and a fumble recovery.
Van Noy has recorded seven fumble recoveries during his NFL career.
New England’s game against Dallas is broadcast on CBS.
