UHSAA Releases Football State Playoff Pairings

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The 10-week regular season for high school football is in the books and UHSAA announced the playoff pairings for the state of Utah.

In 6A, the top 8 seeds all receive a first round bye. The higher seed will be at home for the first three rounds. The semifinals will take place on Friday, November 12 with the championship on Friday, November 19. Both rounds will be at Rice-Eccles Stadium.

In 5A, the top 8 seeds all receive a first round bye. The semifinals will take place on Thursday, November 11 with the championship on Friday, November 19. Both rounds will be at Rice-Eccles Stadium.

In 4A, the top three seeds received a first round bye. The first and second rounds will be played at home sites of the higher seed. The semifinals will take place at a venue that is to be determined on Friday, November 5. Championship round will be played on Friday, November 12 at Rice-Eccles Stadium.

In 3A, the top four seeds received a first round bye. The first round and quarterfinals will be played at home sites of the higher seed. Semifinals will be played at Southern Utah University on Saturday, November 6 with the championship game taking place on Saturday, November 13 at Weber State University.

In 2A, the top four seeds received a first round bye. First round and quarterfinals will be played at home sites of the higher seed. The semifinals will be played at SUU on Saturday, November 6 and the championship on November 13 at Weber State.

In 1A, the top five seeds received a first round bye. The first and second rounds will be played at home sites of the higher seeds with the semifinals taking place at SUU on Friday, November 5 and the championship on November 13 at Weber State.
