Marcus Williams Picks Off Daniel Jones In Saints OT Loss To Giants

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Former Utah and current New Orleans safety Marcus Williams continues to make plays for the Saints secondary as he gets another interception.
Late in the first half, Daniel Jones of the New York Giants threw a deep ball down the field and Marcus Williams picked it off and returned it three yards to their own five-yard line. The score was tied at seven heading into halftime.
The Giants outscored the Saints 11-7 in the fourth quarter to force overtime when Saquon Barkley ran in the game-winning touchdown.

Williams finished the game with seven total tackles, four solo tackles and a pass deflection to go with his interception. It’s his second interception of the season. The first one came in their season opening win over the Green Bay Packers.
New Orleans dropped their record to 2-2 on the season. They will be on the road on Sunday, October 10 against the Washington Football Team at 11:00 a.m. MDT on CBS.
