SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Former Corner Canyon High School and current USC quarterback Jaxson Dart was named Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week.

Jaxson Dart entered the game in the first quarter for the injured Kedon Slovis and led USC to a blowout win over Washington State.

After throwing an interception on his first drive, Dart went off throwing for 391 yards, four touchdowns and two interceptions. He also led the Trojans with 32 rushing yards on six carries.

Dart set a USC record for most passing yards thrown in a Trojans’ debut.

Dart signed with USC in the 2021 class out of Corner Canyon High School, where he led the Chargers to a state championship, while being named the National Gatorade Player of the Year. He earned the backup QB spot going into the season as a four-star recruit.

USC will now let Slovis and Dart battle for the starting job this week as the Trojans will battle Oregon State on Saturday, September 25 at 8:30 p.m. MDT on FS1.
