BYU Scores on Trick Play
The Cougars had just twelve yards in the first quarter against a tough Arizona State defense. But, after a timely interception by Max Tooley, the BYU offense drove down the field and scored on six plays.
It was a trick play on the reverse, a toss back to Jaren Hall and a deep shot to a wide-open Gunner Romney in the end zone. The 34-yard touchdown pass put the Cougars back in the lead, 14-7 after the extra point by Justen Smith.

Quarterback Jaren Hall was stellar on the scoring drive. He went 4-4 for 94 yards and the touchdown. BYU will hope the big play creates some momentum for the offense moving forward.
