PROVO, Utah – BYU/Arizona State is a Top 25 contest and one of the top games on the week three college football slate this weekend.
So naturally, being one of the top games, the ESPN College Gameday crew gave BYU-ASU predictions.
College Gameday was on location at State College, Pennsylvania for Penn State vs. Auburn. The celebrity guest picker was former Penn State great and current New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley.
Barkley joined Desmond Howard, Rece Davis, Lee Corso, and Kirk Herbstreit on the ESPN set for predictions.

The former Nittany Lion who led Penn State to a Big Ten Championship in 2016 picked BYu to take down the Sun Devils in the late-night tilt at LES. Corso and Herbstreit agreed with Barkley.
The only person who didn’t pick BYU was former Heisman Trophy winner Desmond Howard. Instead, Howard chose ASU to come away victorious in the first matchup between the two schools since 1998.

Last week, leading up to the Utah game, Kirk Herbstreit was the only Gameday host to pick the upset over the Utes.
While Gameday was taking place, FOX’s Big Noon Kickoff also previewed the game. Former USC legendary QB Matt Leinart picked BYU to take down ASU as well. Leinart said he didn’t know enough about the Sun Devils yet through the first two weeks of the season.
While both teams have opened the season with a 2-0 record, BYU has played two Power Five teams, while ASU has faced FCS Southern Utah and winless UNLV.
No. 19 Arizona State at No. 23 BYU kicks off at 8:15 p.m. (MT) on ESPN and KSL NewsRadio (102.7 FM, 1160 AM).
