Former Utah Utes Impress With Big Performances In Week 2 Of NFL Season

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Multiple former Utah Utes had excellent performances during Week 2 of the NFL season.

Here is how all of the players with ties to the state of Utah fared during the second week of the season.

Former Utah Utes

Urban Meyer – Head Coach – Jacksonville Jaguars (0-2)

The former Utah head coach and the Jaguars suffered a 23-13 loss to the Denver Broncos.

Tyler Huntley – Quarterback – Baltimore Ravens (1-1)

The former Utah quarterback and the Ravens defeated the Chiefs, 36-35.

Star Lotulelei – Defensive Tackle – Buffalo Bills (1-1)

The former Utah defensive lineman had one tackle in Buffalo’s 35-0 win over the Miami Dolphins.

Zack Moss – Running Back – Buffalo Bills (1-1)

The former Utah running back had eight carries for 26 yards and two touchdowns in Buffalo’s 35-0 win over the Miami Dolphins. Moss also had two catches for eight yards.

Jaylon Johnson – Cornerback – Chicago Bears (1-1)

The former Utes defensive back had two total tackles, two solo tackles, four pass breakups, and an interception in Chicago’s 20-17 win over the Cincinnati Bengals.

Bradlee Anae – Defensive End – Dallas Cowboys (1-1)

The former Utah defensive end had one tackle in Dallas’ 20-17 win over the Los Angeles Chargers.

Francis Bernard – Linebacker – Dallas Cowboys (1-1)
