ROY, Utah – BYU football added another in-state prospect to its 2022 recruiting class. This time they pick up a commitment from Roy High School athlete Parker Kingston.
Kingston is 5-foot-11, 175-pounds and is currently playing the quarterback position for the Royals. He is the successor at QB for Roy to current USC backup QB Jaxson Dart. Dart played at Roy before moving to Corner Canyon his senior year.
Kingston projects as a wide receiver at BYU. He tweeted his commitment video to BYU football offensive coaches Aaron Roderick and Fesi Sitake.

Kingston is a prospect in the class of 2022. Originally in his recruitment, he was committed to playing for the U.S. Air Force Academy. But schools like BYU continued to pursue the versatile athlete that was recently clocked in at 4.49 laser 40-yard dash.
Last month, Kingston de-committed from the Air Force Academy and has now given a verbal to BYU.

Along with BYU and Air Force, Fresno State showed interest in the Roy High prospect.
Kingston now brings BYU’s 2022 class to a total of 14 commits. He is a member of an elite 7-on-7 Utah High School squad call Team Pala. They travel around the country and Kingston has shown well on the 7-on-7 circuit with American Fork’s Maddux Madsen as the quarterback.
