Calvin Tyler Jr. Runs In First Touchdown Of 2021 For Utah State

LOGAN, Utah – Oregon State transfer and Utah State running back Calvin Tyler Jr. ran in the Aggies’ first touchdown of the 2021 season.
The touchdown for Utah State came with 5:25 remaining in the fourth quarter against Washington State on Saturday night. Calvin Tyler Jr. ran it in from two-yards out to cut the deficit to 23-18.
It was a defensive effort throughout the game for the Aggies as they scored first on a field goal. Washington State answered with their own field goal to tie the game. Utah State took the lead back when they got a safety. Then the Cougars nailed another field goal to go up by one point.

Early in the first half, Utah State took the lead back on another field goal before Washington State scored their first touchdown of the season when Max Borghi ran it in for a 64-yard TD. Coles made his third field goal of the game to bring USU within two points. Wazzu stretched their lead back out to nine with a touchdown from Jayden de Laura to Donovan Ollie.
The Cougars also made a field goal to go up by 12 before Tyler ran in the touchdown.
