Utes RB Tavion Thomas Carries Wildcats, Barrels Into End Zone For Touchdown

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah running back Tavion Thomas carried multiple Weber State defenders and barreled into the end zone for a touchdown during the Utes’ game against the Wildcats.
The Utes hosted the Weber State Wildcats at Rice-Eccles Stadium on Thursday, September 2.
With 8:44 remaining in the fourth quarter, Utes quarterback Charlie Brewer took the snap and handed the ball off to Thomas.
The running back fought through would-be tacklers and made his way across the goal line for six points on the 14-yard carry.

It was Thomas’ second touchdown of the contest.
The rushing score extended Utah’s lead to 33-10.
After the run, Thomas had nine carries for 78 yards and two touchdowns.
Utah’s game against Weber State is broadcast on the Pac-12 Network and 700 AM.
