Former Utah, USU WR Siaosi Mariner Signs With Baltimore Ravens

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Baltimore Ravens have signed former Utah Utes and Utah State wide receiver Siaosi Mariner as they are in the middle of training camp.
Siaosi Mariner is reuniting with his former quarterback in college at Utah in Tyler Huntley, who is fighting for the backup spot with the Baltimore Ravens.
According to Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic, the Ravens waived tight end Jake Breeland in order to sign Mariner to the roster.
Ravens haven’t roster move but they have new player on field: WR Siaosi Mariner. The Utah St product has worked out w Ravens before on tryout basis. No word on corresponding move.

Mariner spent two seasons in college football. He started with Utah in 2018 where he played in seven games as a junior, hauling in 17 receptions for 209 yards and one touchdown. After the 2018 season, Mariner transferred to Utah State and shined by posting 63 catches for 987 yards and 10 touchdowns as a senior.
Mariner signed a undrafted free agent deal with the Las Vegas Raiders after the 2020 NFL Draft but was waived during training camp.
